This past weekend, one of my best friends, Bryan King graduated from Pepperdine School of Law so I decided to make some treasures for friends and family to enjoy at the celebration dinner.

I chose to spruce up the much-loved “Elvis” cupcake for the occasion and since I received such great reviews, the changes are here to stay. Affectionately renamed after Mr. Bryan King and in an effort to stay true to the type of cupcake and its changes, I re-introduce to you, “The King:”

I started with a graham cracker and Salish smoked salt crust, a layer of melted TCHO dark chocolate, fluffy chocolate cake…

Hidden inside is a banana cream filling with fresh, organic bananas…

Topped with a creamy peanut butter cream cheese buttercream and appropriately crowned with gold-dusted dark chocolate covered TCHO cocoa nibs.

Since Bryan is such a huge fan of the Chicago Cubs, I decided to decorate his graduation cupcakes accordingly…

Congratulations, B-Roni. We’re all so proud of you.
